The movie industry in Nigeria aptly tagged; Nollywood is one of the top three leading motion picture industries in the world. Few weeks ago, Nollywood celebrated its 20 years of existence, though that is still being argued by some of its stakeholders who believe the industry is even older than Nigeria, which gained independence in 1960.

RMD WINS LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS AT THE GIAMA

Popular Nollywood star, Richard Mofe Damijo, has been awarded with the Lifetime Achievement awards at the just concluded Golden Icons Academy Awards, GIAMAs.

Hosted by Ramsey Nouah with several Nollywood stars in attendance, the Golden Icons Academy Awards, GIAMAs held over night at the Stafford Center Performing Art Theater in Houston, Texas, US.

The event had the trappings of some of the best entertainers in Nigeria and Africa continent.

RMD, STELLA DAMASUS, DANIEL ADEMINOKAN AND GOVERNOR EMMANUEL UDUAGHAN FOR "DELTA PIKIN" CAMPAIGN

Filmmaker, Daniel Ademinokan is currently leading several stars in a new Delta State sponsored campaign tagged Delta Pikin. He has been at the forefront of the campaign with Stella Damasus, Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and Richard Mofe Damijo on board.

According to sources, the project has drawn the Delta State governor’s attention to Daniel and Stella’s creativity. Daniel recently shared some of the endorsement pictures of movie stars and the governor endorsing the state.
