Our
friends at Movie Fanatic have confirmed that a sequel to this Kevin Hart-Ice
Cube blockbuster is in the works, with both stars signed on for Ride Along 2
Tim Story likely coming back as director.
The
comedy has already earned over $117 million at the box office, becoming the
first surprise hit of 2014.
It's not
hard to see where Ride Along 2 could go, as the original (SPOILER ALERT!)
concluded with Hart's character receiving permission from Cube's cop to marry
the latter's sister, while also heading off to the police academy.
