The 'Scandal' actress - who is expecting her first child with her
husband Nnamdi Asomugha - threw a lavish bash at the home of her popular
TV show's creator, Shonda Rhimes, for 40 of her closest friends and
family members.
According
to an eyewitness, guests with gifts in tow started arriving to the
ladies-only shower at 11 a.m. and were greeted by valets and security
guards with a guest list. The presents were wrapped in pastel colors
including blue, yellow, green and pink, and there were a ton of baby
clothes, stuffed plush animals, potted flowers and gift baskets in the
mix.The mom-to-be arrived around 11:15 a.m. in her black Mercedes, wearing a light blue dress with a tie at the waist.
"She looked beautiful and had very little makeup on," the source continued. "She was with her mom Valerie and was met by several family members inside." Another pic below...
