Godzilla is an upcoming American science fiction monster film featuring the Japanese film monster of the same name in a reboot of the Godzilla film franchise.
The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen as Lieutenant Ford and his significant other Elle Brody. Godzilla also stars Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston, Juliette Binoche, Ken Wantanabe, Fifty Shades of Grey’s Victor Rasuk, Hawaii Five-O actor Richard T. Jones, and many more.
Right now, you’re probably thinking to yourself, “Those are all exceptionally good actors who don’t just take any role.” You’re thinking that’s because you’re right!
The visuals in the film are pretty amazing, the monster looks incredible, and there is certainly no shortage of action in the film. But, could this be just another bad remake or not. And what’s with that ROAR at the end of the trailer??
Godzilla is being directed by writer, director, and cinematographer Gareth Edwards. Godzilla opens in theaters on May 16, 2014.
