STAR OF THE WEEK- YVONNE OKORO

We started with beauty and hunk of the day which was made up of only movie stars but now we have included you dear readers, so you can also become beauty and hunk of the day (note: must be a follower of this blog). So we will be having "Star Of The Week" to honour our lovely movie stars. On this segment, we will be giving you their brief biography. So to kick off we are starting with delectable YVONNE OKORO.

Born of a Ghanian mother and a Nigerian father(Abia State), Yvonne Chinyere Okereke Okoro is the fifth child of her family and the first child from  her mom. Yvonne who sees her self as just an African due to the conflict on weather she is a Nigerian or a Ghanian started her movie career in 2002 with her first movie "Sticking to Promise". The movie "Beyonce" brought her to lime light and since then her name has been on the lips of  both movie makers and her ever increasing fans.

The graduate of Arts, combining English and Linguistics from the University Of Ghana, Legon has received Ghana Movie Award's best Actress  in 2010 and was nominated for African Movie Academy Awards twice in 2011 and 2012 for her movies Pool Party and Single Six. She was honoured with Distinguished Achievement Award in 2012 at Nigeria Excellence Awards. Today she is a proud producer of the movie "THE CONTRACT".
