In the news today is actress Chika Ike who has just been appointed an ambassador by the National Commission for Refugees and Displaced Persons.
The announcement was made in Abuja by Hajiya Hadiza Kangiwal on the 23rd of June which happens to be WOLD REFUGEES DAY

This is in recognition of her stellar work as an actress and her immense contributions to the plight of displaced persons and refugees through her Chika Ike foundation. This places more responsibilty on the hard working actress and UN Ambassador.
