Yepeee!! Personally I am happy that this film was finally censored and we all are going to see it. It has not been a smooth ride for the movie to be screened in Nigeria. It was said that the NFVCB wanted the production team to cut out some parts of the movie.
The publicist for the high budget production has confirmed that the National Film and Video Censors Board has cleared the Biyi Bandele flick. We will keep you updated with the official release and screening date.This is good news.
The movie is adapted from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie‘s best selling novel, and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton, Genevieve Nnaji, OC Ukeje, Onyeka Onwenu and Anika Noni Rose.
