MERCY JOHNSON BANNED

News reaching us says that Nollywood sweet heart Mercy Johnson has incured the wrath of movie marketers who have black listed her. The ban visited on her fellow actresses years back has been visited on Mama Purity too. The reason? She is now considered too expensive.
Mercy charges from between 1.8million Naira and 2million Naira for a movie. In an industry where the average budget for a movie is 2million Naira, Mercy alone takes the whole sugar. With people like Ini Edo and other stars taking between 750k to a million Naira, the marketers felt it was time to put Mercy in the cooler for a while.  The argument of intelligent watchers of the industry is "Who started paying Mercy that amount in the first place?"
